May 2026 to nowXceed365DevOps and AI platform engineerHR software · Enterprise · Compliance
The place
Xceed365HR builds agentic HR software for companies across Africa and the Gulf. Based in Lagos, with 11 to 50 people.
What I did
I led the migration of the complete infrastructure to a new cloud provider and rebuilt it as multi-tenant and highly available across availability zones, so enterprise customers get isolation and uptime by default. I also build the AI agent tooling the team uses to ship and operate the platform.
What changed
An enterprise-ready platform: ISO 27001 and GDPR achieved, tenants kept apart, no single data center to take it down, and lower cloud costs.

The place
An online medical consultancy in Pakistan: patients reach a doctor 24/7 by video, through the app and partner clinics.
What I did
I led the migration of the entire infrastructure to a new cloud provider, built it to meet ISO 27001 and GDPR, and managed the business intelligence dashboards the company ran on.
What changed
A compliant platform on a new cloud, with the monthly bill down 45% from proper scaling and removing what nobody used, while production kept serving high traffic.

The place
Neem builds financial infrastructure for Pakistan: banking-as-a-service and payments for companies building financial products.
What I did
I led the deployment and upkeep of the cloud environment, working with the product and security teams to keep it scalable, available and secure.
What changed
A scalable, highly available cloud base the product team could ship on, kept secure as the platform grew.

The place
A software development company with an office in Dubai, building apps and platforms for clients, including healthcare and enterprise systems.
What I did
I managed infrastructure for several startups at once: set each one up from scratch, with CI/CD and the tooling around it, and kept their cloud costs in check as they grew.
What changed
Each startup had production-ready infrastructure from the first release, and cloud bills that matched its stage.

The place
The freelance marketplace. Now and then I pick up a small DevOps project there, outside my full-time roles.
What I did
Small, well-defined jobs: setting up a pipeline, getting an app deployed, tidying up a cloud setup.
What changed
A handful of happy clients, and a little over $10K earned across the projects over time.
